The effects of anthropogenic climate change have become more than abundantly clear in the last decade. So much so that action has begun on the international level. If governments and scientists are in agreement on the reality of global warming then why has the general public been left behind? I will be exploring some of the contributing factors to public denial of climate change, particularly in america. I will be considering various contributions to public doubt, including media efforts, reporting techniques and some demographic contributions.
